NVIDIA’s previously released GeForce 375.86 graphics card drivers are known to be plagued with issues that held off gamers from installing it. The good news is that these issues should be fixed now by NVIDIA’s latest driver update.
The glitches in the GeForce 375.86 update, involved Pascal-based cards not pushing their memory beyond 810 MHz, which is drastically lower than the stock clock speed for all GeForce 10 series products. Given that the nominal memory clocks for most Pascal cards range from 2 GHz to 2.5 GHz, this is definitely not a minor bug. This limitation affects the driver’s performance, and left gamers frustrated.
The GeForce 375.86 drivers caused a series of additional issues, such as flickering on SLI rigs in Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as gamers report on NVIDIA’s forums.
The latest GeForce 375.95 WHQL drivers update, is released primarily to address the issue of low memory clock speeds on Pascal cards. Morever, the release is targeted to enhance the gaming experience and is available for download in 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
