Opera has received a brand new developer version, an update that stands out thanks to its impressive collection of Windows-related improvement and enhancements that will surely please users. For a more refined and elegant appearance, the update in question brings a massive Reborn revamp which includes new icons that steal the show.
Some of the refinements they talk about regard icons that change colors based on whether or not they’re active. This is just the beginning as there are even bigger things planned for Opera.
Lots of changes on the way
When opening a private mode tab, there will be a new animation to enjoy. While this might be pleasing to hear, it may be nothing more than a tradeoff considering that Opera has decided to take out the Speed Dial animation when hovering over tiles. It is still unknown whether or not the Speed Dial effect will make a return in an upcoming build or if this is truly the end for it.
Windows 7 still has a lot of fans
Those that missed the old look Opera used to have should be happy to know that Aero Glass is on its way back. Aero Glass has been a fan favorite for those that fell in love with it in Windows 7 and never switched to any other version of the OS. The Aero Glass theme is heavily inspired by and therefore matches Windows 7.
While this is just a developer build for now, it is still worth installing it quickly for those that serve as developer testers for Opera’s updates. It contains a lot of things to go over and also a lot of bugs that need fixing. The ad blocker is one of the features thought to need more help getting rid of bugs prior to the release of the full consumer build.
