What can I do if the Outlook Navigation bar is moved to the left?
1. Toggle Off the Coming Soon Try it now button
- Launch Outlook and go to the top right corner.
- Look for Coming soon Try it now and toggle off the switch beside it.
- Outlook app will seek persimmon to restart; click Yes.
2. Open Outlook in safe mode
- Press the Ctrl key and open the Search bar.
- While holding down the Ctrl key, type Outlook, and press Enter.
- Click Yes on the prompt.
- The Outlook app will now be in Safe mode, and the navigation bar will return to the bottom.
3. Use Registry Editor
Note: Before making any changes, it is advised to back up your registry files. To do that, go to File, then click Export. Now save the .reg file to an accessible location.
3.1 If Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar is present
- Press Windows + R to open the Run console.
- Type Regedit and press Enter to open Registry Editor.
- Follow the below-mentioned path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentEcs\Overrides
- Locate and double-click Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar String and edit its Value data to False.
- Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.
3.2 If Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar is not present
- Press Windows + R to open the Run console.
- Type Regedit and press Enter to open Registry Editor.
- Copy and paste the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentEcs\Overrides
- Right-click on Overrides and select New, then choose String Value.
- Rename the DWORD as Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar.
- Double-click on it and modify the Value data to False.
- Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.
