Paypal Decides Not To Release A Windows 10 Mobile App Announces It By Mistake

Paypal would definitely be one of the most used apps on Windows 10 Mobile, but unfortunately, it won’t come to Microsoft’s platform. The company even discontinued its old app for Windows Phone, so Windows 10 Mobile users can now access the payment service from its official website, only.

Upon discontinuing the Windows Phone app, PayPal actually said that the Windows 10 Mobile variant is possible. This sparked the flame at users, who thought PayPal changed its mind, and decided to develop the Windows 10 Mobile app after all. Here’s what PayPal’s message said:

“Good news is on its way – we’re hard at work creating a brand new PayPal app for you. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready. Meanwhile, you can access your account, send money and more by visiting paypal.co.uk,”

However, as it turned out, PayPal posted this message by mistake, and the company quickly removed it. After that, PayPal said that the message wasn’t supposed to show up to Windows Phone users, and the Windows 10 Mobile app won’t be released.

“Sorry about that! Our app for Windows is no longer available. You can access your account, send money, and more using our mobile website”

This caused even more frustration, as a lot of users expected the PayPal app for Windows 10 Mobile to be released. That wouldn’t be the first time a company decides to remove its Windows Phone app, and develop a brand new UWP app for Windows 10. But just like Snapchat, PayPal won’t be one of those companies.
