Playdead S Indie Game Inside Can Now Be Played On The Xbox One

Playdead is the indie developer responsible for 2010’s Limbo, a puzzle-platformer about an unnamed boy searching for his sister who ventures through dangerous environments and traps to do so. Inside is the second title from this developer, another puzzle platformer adventure video game that’s similar to Limbo. This time, though, players control a boy whose adventure starts in the forest and solves mysteries while trying not to get killed.

Danish company Playdead has released Inside for the Xbox One console on June 29 and will bring it to Windows PC on July 7. If you liked Limbo because of its dark presentation and storyline, then Insider brings that same mystery and adventure back.

The action again takes place in a forest with a main character who can be controlled to walk, run, swim or use objects he finds in nature to progress in the game. He eventually gains the power to control cadavers to complete certain puzzles. If not, it’s off with his head, so if you are a fan of horrific deaths, then you will enjoy seeing the boy losing his life while accompanied by gruesome animations. Don’t worry, though — there are infinite lives available to figure it all out!
